Dani Lipman

Hi, I'm Dani. I am a creative girl from West Des Moines, Iowa. I am physics and astronomy BS graduate from the University of Iowa with dreams of becoming a research professor. I have enjoyed music from a young age, and have continued to search for creative outlets ever since. I absolutely love vocal jazz and musical theatre. My main instrument is my voice, then piano, and I am slowly teaching myself to play guitar.  I am also an avid writer and have written mainly short stories and poetry, but I am also working on a novel as well. I absolutely love music because of the ability it gives people to communicate. There's a lot music can say when just saying or writing words can't fulfill the ineffable. Music gives way to thinking and culture, which is something I find beautiful and fascinating.
